Rosalia
Rosalia Vila who is also referred to as Rosalia, is a Spanish Flamenco music singer. Since the age of 13 she has been active in pop music and flamenco. In addition, she explores different music genres such as hip-hop soul and Trap. Flamenco musician Pepe habichuela has described her voice as sweet and sharp but having the grit of more mature singers. El Mal Querer is her new album made available in 2018, and has been a commercial and critical success. Following Los Angeles, her debut album in 2017 was awarded an Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and was also awarded the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd and The Weeknd, came out in 2021. Motomami, her third album included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry, James Blake along with other artists. In March 2022 the set was released following Saturday Night Live's show Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia is the very first Spanish singer to be the only solo performer on the program. Motomami, Rosalia's album that won three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female performer to have winning the Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
